The Role
They are currently seeking a Software Engineer to join a collaborative, high-performing product engineering team.
This role will suit a hands-on full stack engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, working across modern systems and contributing to scalable, well-structured platforms. You’ll be involved in designing, building and improving production systems that support a high-volume marketplace used across Australia.
The team places strong emphasis on engineering fundamentals, clean code and maintainable systems. While they operate within a modern tech stack, they are more interested in how you think and approach problems than in exact technology alignment.
Tech Environment
- Frontend: React, Angular, JavaScript
- Backend: Ruby on Rails
- Cloud: AWS
Experience across all of these is not essential – strong core engineering capability and the ability to learn quickly are more important.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience as a Full Stack Engineer (or similar) working on production systems
- Strong grounding in software engineering principles and computer science fundamentals
- Experience building and maintaining scalable applications
- Comfort working across JavaScript-based frontends and backend frameworks
- A proactive mindset and genuine interest in continuous learning
- Strong communication and collaborative problem-solving skills
